Born March 30, 1941, in Parma, MO, daughter of the late Ora Lee and Mildred Faye Woodson Stroud, she had lived in Illinois and Texas and was a resident of Morehouse for many years. She had been employed by National Lock and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse and attended the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse.
On Dec. 24, 1959, in Morehouse, MO, she married Jim Laminack who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, James Randall Laminack; one daughter, Cindy Bowers; two brothers, Ronnie Stroud and Donnie Stroud; one sister, Brenda Sanders; and four grandchildren.
One brother, Gary Dewayne Stroud, preceded her in death.
Visitation was at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse where services were conducted with The Rev. Frank Breeden of Morehouse officiating.
Burial followed in the Essex Cemetery.
