Anna Marie Frank (Anne), left this earth for a better place on October 18, 2011, in the presence of Alfred (Al), her loving and cherished husband of 60 years and children. She was 86 years old. Born in the Bronx in September of 1925, she was the daughter of Mortimer J Sullivan and Marie Brady Sullivan. She grew up in the Bronx with her two brothers Bill and Morty.

She and Al met in late 1949, and were married in the Bronx in late 1951….and then the family began. Their marriage of selfless sacrifice and constant devotion was and is an example to all. Between 1952 and 1969, they had 7 children. Her husband and her children were her life.. Her 7 children led to 23 grand children and 7 great grand children. The words dedicated and devoted do little to convey her commitment to her family. It was a love, inspired by her faith, and lived every day to the smallest detail, which created a family atmosphere noticed by all who came into her home. Always known for her calm demeanor, her easy humor, and her gentle kindness, it was her constant example of unconditional love which drew everyone who met her into her heart.

Throughout her life, she was constantly caring for people, be they family members, relatives, friends or neighbors. No one was ever turned away, or left to feel that there was anything else in her day which was more important to her. The word "no" was not in her vocabulary. A person in need was a beacon to her. Even in her last two years, when debilitating illness caused her to move into a full time care center, it was not only her fellow patients, but even members of the staff, who felt that her presence brought peace and comfort to all of those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband Al, .and her children Peggy and Richard Yngstrom, Charlie and Lynn, Marie Jo and Kevin Madden, Bill and Diane, Kathleen and Scott Bushouse, Al and Lisa, and John and Carmel, as well as her brother Morty Sullivan, her 23 grandchildren (Keith and Cynthia, Sean and Dana, Laura and Ken Tangel, Joe, John and Leslie, Lizzette, Jillian, Andrew, Elizabeth, Steven, Jackey and Rob Griffin Shannon, Christopher, Vicki, Joseph, Lily, Annie, Bethany, Isabelle, Alfred, Michael, James, and Justin) and her 7 great-grandchildren (Nathaniel, Ainsley, Alyssa, Ephraim, Felix, Abigail and Haylee). She was predeceased by her brother William Sullivan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20th from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M and from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street in Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 21, 2011, 11 A.M., at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church at 42 Walnut Street, Walden. Interment will take place after the funeral mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Goodie Bags will be provided for all. She wouldn't have it any other way.
