Eloise M. Haag, 88, of Sheldon passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Heritage Woods of Watseka.

Eloise was born March 26, 1925 in Danforth, the daughter of George J. and Hannah Wilken Tammen. She married Lowell Keith Haag on December 8, 1950 in Danforth and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1990.

She is survived by one son, Bruce Haag of Sheldon; one brother, George H. (Beverly) Tammen of Danforth; and two nephews, Bob (Mary Elaine) Tammen of Danforth and Bill (Carol) Tammen of Bonfield.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Larry.

Mrs. Haag was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Danforth. She helped her husband, son and neighbors with farming and enjoyed gardening and helping on the farm. Eloise taught school for three years in Claytonville and for six years in Ashkum.

Burial will be in Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois.

Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Danforth or Darrow Church of Christ.
