Visitation for Burnus V. Danforth, 78, of Roberts and formerly of Gilman, will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Lamb-Young Funeral Home, Roberts and for one hour at the church before services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Congregational Christian Church, Roberts.

The Rev. Van Haas will officiate.

Burial will be in Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts.

Memorials may be made to her church, Congregational Christian Church, Roberts.

Mrs. Danforth died Thursday (Jan. 6, 1994) at the Naples Community Hospital, Naples, Fla.

She was born July 1, 1915 in Gilman, the daughter of Herman and Hulda Hausmann Tammen.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Danforth, whom she married May 4, 1935 in Gilman; two sons, Harry of Severne, Md. and Craig of St. Louis and four grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Danforth owned a beauty shop in Gilman and Roberts and worked with her husband in the Danforth Funeral Home, Roberts.

She belonged to the Ladies Aid and Add a Friend, both of her church and Lake View Country Club of Loda.
