Gertie Mae Tammen Dishman

Gertie Mae Tammen Dishman, 80, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday February 23, 2000 in Wichita Falls. Services are to be held at 1 P.M. Friday February 25 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview with Mike Priddy officiating. Burial will be at the Hope Cemetery, Henrietta, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview.

Mrs. Dishman was born March 12, 1919 in Dean, Texas and was a Clay County Pioneer. She lived in the Dean area her entire life. Mrs. Dishman was a homemaker. She married Carl F. Dishman on September 5, 1937 in Wichita Falls, who proceeded her in death on April 18, 1986. She was a member of the Loop 11 Church of Christ. She is survived by her son Tommy E. Dishman and his wife Mayme of Wichita Falls; two grandsons, Wade Dishman of Wichita Falls, Jim Dishman and his wife Stephanie of Wichita Falls; and two great-great-grandsons Justin Dishman and Brandon Dishman, both of Wichita Falls.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday February 24, 2000 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel.
