Dorothy Taylor Kirkpatrick, age 92, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, James and Josye Taylor; her husband, Albert Kirkpatrick; five brothers, Norman, Dorris, Buford, Charles, and Fred Taylor; three sisters, Hassie Green, Katherine Hardcastle, and Allie Lazenby.
She is survived by one son, James (Jim) Kirkpatrick (Janice); one daughter, Patti Dodd (Paul); and one grandchild, Kirk Patrick Dodd.
Dorothy loved to travel, crochet and spending time with her grandson. She loved her work family at News Channel 5, WTVF and worked there many years. She was a long time member of Eleventh Street Church of Christ and later a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. Above all she loved her family and friends with all her heart.
Tuesday, August 8, from 10-11 a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted by Marvin Taylor at the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home.
