Ivers, Marcella J. "Marcy" age 91, of Mpls, died May 16, 2013. Preceded in death by loving husband, Johnny; mother, Helen Engell and her best friend & companion dog, J.J. Teddy. Survived by daughters, Sharon (Frank) Meduna and Jackie (Tom) Hartman; grandsons, Matthew and John Hartman; sister, Betty Fuhrman; her "good boy" companion dog, Forest; and other family members & friends. Member of Annunciation Church for over 60 years, her passion was giving back to her community by volunteering with many charities. She was a longtime animal lover. Graveside service Monday, 10:30 AM, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3-5 PM, with prayer service beginning 3 PM at Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave S.
