Georgia was the daughter of Samuel and Lena L. Taylor. Samuel was born Apr. 1861 in Missouri. He was a barber, living at East 12th St., according to the June 7, 1900 census in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri. His father was born in New York and his mother, in Missouri. Georgia's mother, Lena L. Taylor was born Oct. 1865 in Illinois. She was a laundry ironer. Lena's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. In the same census, Georgia's birthplace was listed as Missouri. Her parents had been married 13 years. One child had been born to them and was still living, presumably Georgia, age 13 (although both of her parents were listed as having been born in Missouri).

In the 1916 Los Angeles Register of Voters, Mrs. Georgia Loe, housewife, was listed, living alone at 1714 East 39th St. She was a Republican. Neither her husband nor Joseph were listed with her.

In the 1920 census, Georgia Loe was 32, living at a rented place in Los Angeles, a married woman. (Note: Georgia may also have been married to Max Greigelstiner.) Georgia's father was born in Missouri, her mother in Illinois. She was working at a shop as a laundress. Her husband was not listed as living with her nor were any children listed. Instead, she was living with Joseph F. Fisher age 31, a roomer, later to be her husband. He was listed as age 31, single, born in California and working as a bottler at a the 'works' (brewery). Both of his parents were born in Germany.

In 1922, Georgia & Joseph were listed in Los Angeles Register of Voters. They were married and living together at 1706 East 39th St. in the city of Los Angeles, Precinct 117. They declined to state their political party.

According to the 1930 census, Georgia's birthplace was listed as Missouri. Her father was also born in Missouri, her mother in Illinois. She was 42 years old, living with and married to Joseph, age 41. He was 30 yrs. old at the age of his first marriage, she was 22. She was married previously to a Mr. Loe. There are no children living with them in 1930. They owned their own home, valued at $6,000 (among the most expensive on the block) and a radio. He was a WWI veteran, working at a brewing plant as a bottler. She did not work outside the home.
