Eva Jean was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Belmont, W.Va., a daughter of the late Al Russell and Daisy Mae (Dearth) Taylor.
She spent her life as a loving and caring homemaker for her family. She also worked as a waitress at the former Blue Diamond Restaurant in Finch, W.Va. She was a member of Pike Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and playing bingo.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Arnett and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Jessica Arnett and great grandchildren, Taylor and Logan Sprouse, all of Cairo, W.Va. (Glendale Community); brothers, Howard "Dick" Taylor of Williamstown, W.Va., James Taylor of St. Marys, W.Va., and Beryl Taylor of St. Marys, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Doyle Arnett in 2012; son, Timmy Arnett; brothers, Charles and Carl Taylor; and sisters, Bonnie, Catherine, and Debra Taylor.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, W.Va., with the Rev. John Frum officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Glendale, W.Va. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
