Dainese Ella Taylor Ames, 84, of Hinton, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning June 15, 2008, at the Summers Co. Applachian Regional Hospital at Hinton, following a sudden illness.

Born June 25, 1923 at Sandstone she was a daughter of the late Jess C. and Jessie M. Kincaid Taylor.

Dainese married the love of her life Clarence "Moose" Ames on March 6, 1947.
He preceded her in death on August 28, 1961.

A homemaker and a widow at a young age, Dainese focused her love on raising their only child Doug.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Taylor; two sisters, Imogene Lyons and Pearl Tincher and two nephews, Nelson Tincher and J.R. O'Bryan.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Clarence Douglas Ames and his wife Shelia of Cortland, OH; a granddaughter, Melissa Dailey and husband Tom of Deerfield, OH; one grandson, Michael Ames and fiance' Melissa Padisak of Cortland, OH; great grandsons, Tommy and Tyler Dailey of Deerfield, OH; one sister, Betty O’Bryan of Hix; one brother, Jay Taylor and wife Ann of Hinton; several nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as Aunt Dainese Larry Tincher and wife Betty of Jumping Branch, Darrell Tincher and wife Karen of Meadow Bridge, Denvil Lee Tincher and Bertha of Moore, OK, Virginia “Sis� Cales and husband Buford of Hinton, Roger Lyons and wife Lena, Charles Lyons and Sandy Lyons all of Pittsburgh, Linda Martin and husband Eddie of Hix, Anthony Taylor and wife Rhonda of Hinton, Verna Mae Brown and husband Mike of Hinton and several great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Sandstone Baptist Church with Pastor Benny Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
