Mrs. Perry, widow of Sherman H. Perry, died Monday morning, April 22, at Mariner Health Care at Pendleton where she was a resident for the past four years. She was born in Waterbury, October 15, 1898, the first child of former Connecticut Gov. Charles A. Templeton and Martha (Castle) Templeton. She graduated from St. Margaret's School of Waterbury and attended the Knox School in Tarrytown, N.Y. For many years, she worked in the real estate business with Emma McDonald of Watertown. During World War II, she was a timekeeper at Waterbury Tool Co. Mrs. Perry was a founding member of the Junior League of Waterbury and was active with the YWC A. She also was an honorary member of the Waterbury Club and the Highfield Club of Middletown. During the 1930s she was an ardent member of the Watertown Hunt Club.
She leaves two daughters, Anne Shove of Watertown and Martha Snyder of Stonington; five grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to St. Margaret's-McTeman School in Waterbury; St. Paul's Church in Woodbury; or to Calvary Church in Stonington.
