Iris W. (Oughton) Templeton, 74, of Capen Street, Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday (January 2, 2000) in a local skilled nursing facility after a long illness.
She was born in 1925 in London, England, where she lived until 1950, when she came to the United States and had lived in Windsor for the past forty-five years.
She leaves her loving husband of forty-nine years eight months, Lawrence (Larry) Templeton; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tracy Templeton; and grandson Brandon, of Windsor Locks;aniece, Iris Orlinski, of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; a brother, David Oughton, of London, England; a sister-in-law and her husband, Gail and Robert Kohler of Jupiter, FL; several cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by a son, David Templeton, on July 6, 1999.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday (January 7, 2000) at 11:00 a.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor.
Burial will be in Palisado Cemetery, Windsor.
Her family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home.
