Ruth T. "Jack" Bean 73 of Blacksville died Tuesday Sept. 4, 1984 at University Hospital. Born Nov 18, 1910 in Wadestown, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Julia Ammons Tennant. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 30 years in Clay and Battelle districts. She was a member of the Monongalia County and WVU State Teachers Association. She was also a member of the Blacksville United Methodist Church and the Golden Glow Rebekah Lodge 299 of Wadestown. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Bean and one Sister, Helen "Pop" Robinson of Wadestown. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Friends may call at the Owen Funeral Home in Blacksville on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 1 P.M. with the Rev. Henry Metheny officiating. Burial will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
