Catherine L. Kaylor (nee Thomas), 89, of Cedar Grove, died suddenly on Friday, December 26, 2014.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church in Cedar Grove. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.

Catherine was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Bloomfield and settled in Cedar Grove over 60 years ago. She attended St. Mary's Nursing School in East Orange and for 30 years worked as a registered nurse for St. Vincent's Hospital in Montclair. She then was employed at Overbrook Hospital in Cedar Grove for five years. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she was a member of the Cedar Grove Public Library Book Club.

She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Thomas M. Kaylor and her siblings, Frederick Thomas and Marie Taylor.

Devoted mother to Suzanne White, Lorraine Seredvick, Thomas, Peter, Matthew and Robert Kaylor. Cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
