"The remains of Curlis O Thomas, who resides at No. 726 Geness Street, were followed to Allentown, N.J. on Tuesday last by a long line of carriages containing many intimate froends and the members of Capital Castle, No. 12 A.O. K. of the mystic Chain and Uncas tribe, No 102, Impd. O.R.M. Mr. Thomas was thirty-seven years old. He had been ill since Thanksgiving day, when he met with an accident at Roebling s Mill where he was employed. He was driving a card which upset, throwing him under the weeks. There was almost a ton of iron in the cart at the time. He was carried home and never fully recovered. The physicians found that his spine was injured and he was otherwise hurt internally. He was the father of five children, four of whom are dead. He resided in Trenton about three years, his former home being at Allentown. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev.
