Sausalito, August 7 - Carlos C. Thompson, 79, a retired locomotive engineer, who had made his home here for the past 10 years, died this morning at his home here. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella May Thompson, and one son Charles J. Thompson. The Thompson family came here from Wisconsin.

The funeral of Carlos C. Thompson, 79, who died Tuesday morning at his home in Sausalito, was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the parlors of Keaton & Dusel. Rev. John J. Canoles, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiated at the service.
Members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, of which Thompson had been a member, acted as pallbearers, and the services at the grave were under the direction of the local chapter of the order.
