Funeral services will be Sunday August 14, 2016 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Franklin officiating. Place of rest will be in the Missionary Ridge Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday August 13th from 2 to 8 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM until time of service. Mrs. Vera Mai Allsup, age 62 of Dickson, TN died Thursday August 11, 2016. Born in Dickson, TN she was the daughter of the late Clayborn and Lorene Jane Bissinger Tidwell and was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Cowden. She had worked as a Manager at the K-Mart in Dickson and she was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Allsup of Dickson; daughters, Nikki Gersman (Justin) of Kingston Springs, Megan Calhoun (Jason) of Dickson; sisters, Marie Peeler (James) of Dickson, Wanda Cochran of Dickson; grandchildren, Tyler Gersman, Austin Gersman, Madalynn Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.
