Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Floice Beard, 86, of Lyles were Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005 at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Bros. Reece Cochran and John Tidwell officiating. Interment followed at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
Mrs. Beard, a retired factory worker at Henry I. Siegel, died on Dec. 23, 2005 at NHC Healthcare Center in Dickson. She was born July 15, 1919 in Dickson County to the late Judd and Rosie Johnson Tidwell.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Harris and her husband, Arien of Lyles; niece, Eulonda Ford of Mt. Juliet; three step-grand-children; and eight step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Beard; sister, Doye Beard and brother, Clayton Tidwell.
