Mattie Todd Barber, 75, of 231 Simmons Street, Versailles, died Thursday, May 6, 1993, at Woodford Hospital. She was a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Sharon Barber, Versailles; two sons, Obie Lee Barber Jr. and Mike Barber, both of Versailles; six sisters, Sally Helmburg and Myrtle Griffin, both of Versailles, and Lillie Johnson, Clara Todd, Geneva Baker, and Dorothy Byrd, all of Frankfort; two brothers, Elmer (Pete) Todd, Lawrenceburg, and James Carl Todd, Owen County; and three grandsons, Mikey and Brian Barber and Zachary Cunningham. A daughter, Gracie Mae Pettit and a brother, Alson Todd, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 10:30am Saturday, May 8, at the Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel, Versailles, by the Rev. Desmond Francis. Burial was in Versailles Cemetery.
