WESTON - Evelyn Ernestine Meffert, 83, of Weston died Dec. 30, 1997, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, after a long illness.
She was retired from the A&P Co. with 26 years' service and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Weston.
Surviving: daughter, Rosemarie Faris of Brandon, Fla.; son, Roland W. of White House, Tenn.; sister, Betty Tomaschko of Weston; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. James Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Weston Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston, where there will be a rosary service at 8. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Lewis County Senior Center.
