Barbara J. Blimling, 73, of Normal died at 6 a.m. Monday (May 2, 2005) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
She was born April 30, 1932 in Bloomington, a daughter of the late Walter S. Tosh and the late Naomi M. Van Ness. She married Charles Blimling on Aug. 7, 1955 in Bloomington. He survives.
She also is survived by a daughter, Janice (Steve Watkins) Petersen, Clinton; a son, Larry C. Blimling, Pana; a grandson, Erik (Leah) Petersen of California; a granddaughter, Erin Angel, Normal; two great-grandchildren, Logan Petersen and Olivia Petersen; a sister, Alice Leary, Normal and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
