Concetta (Connie) Pieragostini passed away peacefully on September 11, 2014 at the age of 95, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Born in New York City, Concetta “Connie” was one of 13 brothers and sisters and was the last surviving sibling. Her family returned to Chieti, Abruzzi, Italy and raised her there until the age of 17. She then returned to the United States and two years later met her loving husband, Egnazio (Charles) Pieragostini. The two were married in 1940 and were long time residents of Mount Kisco, New York.
Connie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and beloved by all those who were lucky enough to cross her path. She was a devout Catholic all of her life and an active member of St. Francis Assisi Church.
Surviving with memories of her love are her daughter, Teresa Sacchetti (Rocco), and her sons, Anthony (Cathy), Charles (Jane) and Peter (Millie). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Connie is predeceased by her husband and a grandson.
