From there they went on to Oregon in 1845. Stephen lived in Oregon till 1869. Went to his daughter's, Eliza McSwain in Vallejo, Ca.; then on to San Luis Obispo, Ca., to family of Felix Beauchamp, and died there in 1869, aged 90 years.
