Mrs. Ruth Tucker, 65, of 1400 Central Ave., Apt. 3, died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 1992, at Sunnycrest Manor.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was born on May 7, 1927, in Dubuque, daughter of Fred E. and Lyda (Kelly) Lyons Specht. She married Otto Tucker on Nov. 15, 1946, in Dubuque; he died July 18, 1970.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Jean Caucett of Madison, Wis., Mrs. Dennis (Katie) Howell and Tammy Carey, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. John (LaVerle) Valakis of Kenosha, Wis.; six sons, John Tucker of Fond Du Lac, Wis., and Benjamin, Otto, Steven, Fred and Patrick Tucker, all of Dubuque; 34 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her mother, Lyda Specht of Dubuque; a sister, Mrs. Vern (LaVerle) Oskerson of Calif.; four half sisters, Mrs. Donald (Edith) Cook, Mrs. Terry (Mary) Mueller, Mrs. Eva Kenneally and Mrs. Bill (Susie) Graves, all of Dubuque; two brothers, Fred Lyons of Dubuque, and Wesley Coonfair of Manchester, Iowa; and two half brothers, Francis and Harry Specht, both of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Thomas, and a daughter Sylvia.
