Glen Allen-Myrtle Tucker Aldridge, 80, of Glen Allen, died May 30,1994, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Services were to be at 2 p.m. today at Norwood Chapel Funeral Home of Fayette with burial in Cleveland Cemetery.
She was born in Fayette County where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Berry High School, attended Livingston State Teacher's College for two years and graduated from the University of Alabama. She was a classroom teacher in Fayette County schools for more than 36 years, retiring in 1973.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Aldridge,Glen Allen; a daughter, Mary Helen Darland, Tulsa,Okla.; two sisters, Lois Bobo,Berry, and Bessie Bagwell, Bankston; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be John Gordon, Foy Bobo, John Tucker Gordon, Andrew Gordon, George Willard Lowery and Billy Lowery.
