Mrs. Mary Evelyn Bass, 56, of 712 Old Winchester Road, New Market, died today at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oakley Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include her husband, Edgar Bass; four sons, Stephen D. Bass, William Ed Bass, Dennis J. Bass and John T. Bass, all of Plevna; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Klang of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, J. P Tucker of Memphis and Asa Tucker of Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Leslie of Westport, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
