Eleanor Marie Bedlington of Lynden died at home Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1995. She was 73.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenacres Memorial Park. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Reformed Church in Lynden with the Rev. Al Honken officiating.
Born March 9, 1922 to Arthur and Merle Wells-Vail in Sumas, she graduated from Nooksack High School in 1940.
She married Gordon Bedlington on April 5, 1942, in Bellingham.
Mrs. Bedlington attended Faith Reformed Church and was a member of Lynden FFA, Custer Rebekah Lodge, Bellingham Elks No. 194 and Bellingham Golf and Country Club.
She enjoyed flowers, traveling, hunting trips and being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Vail.
Survivors include sons Dale Bedlington of Lynden, Dick Bedlington of Ferndale and Gene Bedlington of Bellingham, brother Arthur Vail of Lacey, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Whatcom County, 600 Birchwood Ave., Bellingham, WA 98225; or to Community Cancer Center, 2901 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham, WA 98225.
