He married Maria Alcala, December 19, 1981 and they have four children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Isabel Velazquez.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Velazquez of Dublin, his sons, Marcos Velazquez of Dublin, Saul Velazquez of Dublin, Silvestre Velazquez of Lingleville, and Armando Velazquez of Dublin, eleven Grandchildren, his mother, Maria Marcos Cuevas of Mexico, and numerous brothers, sisters and other relatives who will miss him dearly.
