FUNERALS
Nellie G. Beller
Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie G. Beller were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener and Campbell chapel by Rev. Frank B. Hillis and Rev. Paul Jones. During the service Mrs. Don Peterson sang a solo, and with Mrs. Paul Jones, a duet. Mrs. J. M. Carlson accompanied at the piano and played appropriate organ music before and after the service. Friends acting as pall bearers were Jess Adams, G. E. Thomas, Chris Lauman, J. P. Howard, A. J. Jeffries, and Thomas S. Perry. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
OBITUARY
Nellie Grace Vanderbilt was born in Benton County, Iowa, March 22, 1866. She spent her early childhood there and moved to Ponca, Nebraska with her father. She was married there in 1882 to William S. Beller. They continued to make their home there until 1909 when they moved to the Flathead. They made their home in and near Kalispell since that time. Mr. Beller passed away in 1939. Mrs. Beller passed away November 29, 1943 at the home of her son, Dean, on Seventh avenue east north. She had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.
Mrs. Beller is survived by her seven children, Mrs. Nina Medill of Eugene, Ore.; Lua Griffith of Olney, Mont.; Lola Stenerson of Clearfield, Utah; Elsa Barnes of Warm Springs, Mont.; Everett H. Beller and Dean Beller of Kalispell and Claude F. Beller of Salmon, Idaho; and 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. There are also two sisters and four brothers surviving.
