Funeral Services For Mrs. A. Eppinga will Be Held Today
Mrs. Alice (nee Victoria) Eppinga passed away suddenly, Monday morning. She had been ill a very short time. Mrs. Eppinga had reached the age of 76 years and 8 months.
She was born in Hoogeveen Drenthe, Netherlands on Feb. 18 1878 and came to America at the age of 14 years.
She was married to Andrew Eppinga on Feb. 23, 1903 and has lived in or near Hull since then. The last 43 years were lived in the in the home where she passed away.
There were three children born to this union. Siebe Jan born in 1912 and who died at the age of 5 months, Dena, Mrs. Ed Berghorst, of Hull and Siebron J. of Clarendon Hills, Ill.
Surviving beside her husband and children are 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister Annie, Mrs. H. Oelen of Hull, and a brother John of Chicago, Illinois.
Two brothers, Kort of Sheldon and Henry of Hull and a sister, Dena, Mrs. E Reitsma of Sheldon preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, October 21 1:00 p.m. at the home and 1:30 p.m.at the Christian Reformed Church in Hull with Rev. H.C. Van Deelen officiating. Kraai and VanEtten Funeral Service will have charge of the arrangements and interment will be made at the Hope Cemetery.
