Marjorie M. Walden Asher, 88, formerly of Corbin and Tom’s Brook, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Foister and Nora Walden. She was also preceded in death by her husband Elam Asher; and three brothers Bill, Hugh, and Junior Walden.
Marjorie had worked at American Greetings and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by 3 children: Bill Asher ( Lisa) of Strasburg, Virginia, Barbara Sargent (Bud) of Oxford, Ohio, and Al Asher (Judy) of Strasburg, Virginia;
Six Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren; a Sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2pm on Friday, July 8, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
