Cordia Walden Beck, 88, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at the Monroe County Health Care & Rehab. She was born on Sept. 19, 1918, in Monroe County and was a daughter of the late Faunus Walden and Molly Hammer Walden. She was a homemaker and a member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three brothers: William C. Walden of Tompkinsville, Cebert Walden and Kenneth Ray Walden, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister: Mildred Davis of Indianapolis, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Beck; three brothers, John I. Walden, Bertie Elsworth Walden and James K. Walden; and four sisters, Ruby Mayo, Martha Susan Walden, Georgia Bartley Walden and Frances Kate Walden.
Burial will be in the Marrowbone Cemetery.
