Alexander - William James Michael "Bill" Walker, 59, of 28 Sun Valley Drive died unexpectedly Sunday September 12, 2004 at his home.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa. he lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was the owner and operator of Bill Walker and Sons Tire Center. He was the son of the late Violet Margaret Walker Lamb and was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles William Walker.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Walker of the home; sons, Clint Towe and wife Tammie of Asheville, Kevin Walker and wife Mariko of Alexander and Chris Walker and Fiancée' Amanda of Alexander; step-daughter, Angie Towe of Atlanta, Ga.; grandsons, Tristan Towe, Isaiah Towe and Brayden Walker; granddaughters, Celesta Edge and Elexis Towe; aunts, Virginia Locher and Thelma Ruby Dugas of Pittsburgh, Pa. and ex-wife, Judy Walker of Arden.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the home.
All flowers should be sent to the home.
