Grace was a sweet and kind lady. Married to Thadeous Clarence Burnette, when a young girl. Having given birth to three children, Thadeous Jr, Fate Burnette Williamson, and Alice Burnette Ventenelli. All three children raised in a musical home with love and much good cooking from fruits, crop and livestock grown upon the land.
Fate,(deceased 01/20/2009) daughter, became one of the first women pharmacists in WNC, Alice a renouned New York Opera Singer, and son Thad Jr,(now deceased) he was a property and livestock owner. All three of Grace's children resided in Black Mountain, NC. Living on family property dating back to three hundred years.
Sadly after Grace's passing, her only son, Thad Jr. joined his parents in eteranl glory, leaving behind three sons and one daughter. Grace passed away quietly due to Alzheimer's Disease. Leaving her two daughters, Fate and Alice, son Thad Jr, seven grand-children and numerous great grand children. She was a delightful woman and lady. God Bless her eternally.
