Naomi Victoria Waters-Wallace, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reginald William Lane, was born on January 24, 1929 in Baltimore, MD.

On the morning of January 10, 2017, her Heavenly Father, our God led Naomi to her heavenly home.

Naomi received her education at Frederick Douglass High School where she graduated in 1947. She was President of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #8509 and worked for many years at Maryland Hospital Laundry from which she retired in 1995. Later in life she desired to learn more, and she then went to Northwestern Bible College Seminary where she received her Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degree in Theology with honors; Naomi's favorite saying was "YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN".

She was a Deaconess and dedicated Sunday school participant at the North Star Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD. "THE COMMUNICATOR" is what they called her; she had a strong love for children of all kind and would welcome anyone into her home.

In 1981, Naomi married the late Samuel L.Wallace. This union lasted until his passing on July 24, 2010. Naomi had one child, her son Reginald William Lane, who preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory: her sister, Antoinette Lane; brother, Randolph Waters; her loving niece, Tameira Collins Baskerville (Harold); loving nephew, Dontai Collins (Ann); grandson, Reginald Lane (Erica); three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Mariah and Anaya; three great-nephews, Samontai, Kai'Vron, Dontai Jr.; great-niece, Kaylicia; god-daughter, Carolyn Manigo; and a very special and close friend Betty Allen; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
