Margaret Barker BRAINTREE Margaret "Peg" (Wallace) Barker of Braintree formerly of So. Boston passed away after a brief illness January 26, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82. Wife of the late Joseph L. Barker, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph L. Barker, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Pembroke and Joanne Barker of Braintree. Devoted sister of Mary R. Wallace of Braintree, Coleman F. Wallace and his wife Carol of Milton and the late John P. Wallace of So. Boston. Dear Nana of her pride and joy grandchildren Erin K. Barker and Coleman J. Barker both of Pembroke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her friend Cindy Barcellos. Mrs. Barker was born in Boston and grew up in So. Boston and has lived in Braintree for the past 48 years. She was a bookkeeper for many years at Electroswitch of Weymouth. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree MA until 8 a.m. Saturday followed by Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, So. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
