A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Ross Hollywood Chapel for Ira E. Wallin, who died Sept. 9 at age 83.
Mr. Wallin was born Nov. 22, 1914, in Portland. He worked for Wagoner Mining, retiring in 1980. He was a volunteer firefighter and board member in Fire District 13 and a member of Powell Valley Covenant Church. In 1990, he married Jean Henry.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Karen Lewis of Portland and Sherrill Toman of Pringle, S.D.; son, Eugene E. of San Diego; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be in River View Cemetery.
