Elsie (Waltari) Murphy, 92, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Monday at Highgate Senior Living home.
Elsie was born to Isaac and Henna (Palo) Waltari and raised on their homestead wheat and cattle farm near Fife, Mont.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, John S. "Jack" Murphy; son William F. Murphy; grandson Mark Murphy; her dear brothers, John, Art, Wayne and Charles, and youngest brother George, who lost his life in World War II.
Elsie is survived by her children; six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
