Jolene Walters Davis, age 80, of Malvern passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born October 2, 1928 in Belfast, Arkansas to Bowling Harrison Walters and Ora Meldana Moore Walters. She was a member of Third Baptist Church. Jolene had been a piano teacher for many years and loved playing the piano.
She is survived by: One son, Brent Davis and wife, Jean of Malvern, AR One Daughter, Melody Davis Pelton and husband, Thomas of Malvern, AR One Brother, Billie Walters of Ohio One Sister, Willie Dean Cunningham of Memphis, TN 3 Grandchildren, Malery Tims of Malvern, AR Ashley Davis of Malvern, AR Keith Davis of Malvern, AR Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Davis; her parents; a brother, Bennie Walters; 4 sisters, Marie Moyer, Melissa Walters, Sammie Red, and Frankie Hooker.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Jones-Palestine Cemetery in Grant County.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, at the funeral home.
