Coleen Walters Rood Bowden, age 45, of Hector, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. A daughter of Jeannine Roberts Walters of Dardanelle and the late Glen M. Walters, she was born March 27, 1957, in Rockford, Illinois. She attended the Hector First Assembly of God Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Jerry Bowden; two daughters: Vesta Moreno of Portland, Oregon; and Trisha King of Russellville; two brothers: Gary Don Walters of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Kevin Roberts of Russellville; a half-brother, Raymond Walters of Russellville; two sisters: Glenda Benge of Dardanelle; and Sheila Enos of Russellville; a step-grandson, Jacob King of Russellville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Vigil Bowden of Hector; and a brother-in-law, Kenny Bowden of Hector.

Funeral will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at the Hector First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dean Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in the Linker Mountain Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers will be Glen Lackey, David Lackey, Shawn Tidwell, Patrick Enos, Billy Wayne Tackett and Kenneth Hoffsteter.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, from 7 to 8 P.M., at the funeral home.
