Parnella (or Pernella) (Warner) Norton was married to Edwin Norton on the 2nd of March, 1822 in Woodbury, Litchfield, Connecticut. They had at least 12 children, one of whom I suspect is buried near her. Several of her sons fought for Michigan in the Civil War, and her youngest, Edson, died soon after enlisting, of disease. After the death of her husband she married Peter Force of Stockbridge, who was the father of her second youngest son's wife's first husband, and the grandfather of her grandson, Charles H. Force. She lived to be 93 years old.
