Stanley married Virginia Amanda Aikenhead on 11/22/1912.
He later married Dorothy Mcfeggan in 10/9/1937 and had twpGothenburg Times, NE, 24 Dec 1930, Wed., p.16
Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Turnblade was born October 7, 1902, at Clarks, Neb. She was married to Jack Turnblade in June 1926. They first made their home in Grand Island, where their first born, Dorothy Corinne, was given to the young parents. In the fall of 1928 they moved to Gothenburg and on March 12, 1929, their home was blessed by the arrival of Baird Eugene.
A short time ago the young wife was stricken with a serious fever. As other severe sickness set in, the case became very complicated, and on Dec. 17, 1930, Mrs. Turnblade left her loved ones never to return. Her age was 28 years, 2 months and 10 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure a beloved, grief-stricken husband, the two darling children; a father Mr. Clayton Lawson, and his wife, of Powell, Wyo.; three brothers: Ralph Lawson and wife of Grand Island, Floyd Lawson, Marysville, Kansas, and Baird Lawson, Grand Island; one sister: Mrs. W. B. Stone and husband of Powell, Wyo.; one brother and one sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Turnblade, of Leeds, So. Dak.; other relatives and numerous friends.
Her stay was, as humans count, all too short. Now her place is empty. In faith we cling to God, who remaineth.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Mission church, and were conducted by Rev. O. A. Anderson. Burial was made in Gothenburg cemetery.
