Mabel I. Hoover, 73, of 200 Reading Road, East Earl, died Friday morning at home following a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Martin M. Hoover who died Nov. 19.
Born in Brecknock Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Annie G. Horning Weber.
She was a homemaker and member of Weaverland Mennonite Church.
Surviving are a son, Glenn M. of Clearbrook Va.; six daughters: Linda M., wife of Roland Stutzman of Birmingham, Ala.; Thelma J., wife of Clair E. Stoltzfus of East Earl; Marlene K., wife of Ronald I. Ressler of Kennett Square; and Mildred E., wife of Harold H. Martin, Gladys A., wife of Ivan M. Zimmerman, and Eileen M., wife of Amos K. Newswanger, all of Ephrata; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers: Monroe H. Weber of Fleetwood and Lewis E. Weber and J. Irwin Weber, both of Denver; and three sisters: Kathryn E., wife of Henry H. High of Narvon and Orpha M. Weber and Clara E. Weber, both of Mohnton.
