Carroll Adams, 96, of Watseka, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Watseka. She was born on May 27, 1919 in Rantoul, IL, the daughter of Marion Webster and Lucy (Collins) Webster. Carroll married Robert Adams on March 25, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He passed November 4, 1986. Mrs. Adam's worked at the Iroquois County Treasurer’s Office. She was a member of the American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary. Carroll enjoyed knitting, sewing, camping, jokes, and playing music, especially the mandolin. Surviving Mrs. Adams is one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Marcia Adams of Watseka; one sister, Lorene Whitman of Watseka; two sister-in-law’s, Carolyn Webster of Arkansas and Retha Webster of Watseka; three grandchildren, Luci and Randy DeFauw of Watseka, Daniel Adams II of Dallas, Texas, and Alex and Jessica Adams of Donovan; five great-grandchildren, Jacob DeFauw, Dylan DeFauw, Adrienne Adams, Hunter Adams, and Sawyer Adams; and many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by both herparents; husband, Robert Adams; two brothers, Melvin and Daniel Webster; and three sisters and brother-in-law’s, Connie (Kenny) Bierger, Jean (Harold) Ahlen, and Doris (Wes) Kissack. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:00a-1:00p, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00p, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Joseph Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow at Iroquois Memorial Park Cemetery in Watseka. Memorials in Mrs. Adams's name can be made to the American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, or Donor’s Choice.
