Alvin J. Weier, age 88, a resident of the Hamilton Home in Two Rivers, died there on Monday, 25 June 2001.
Alvin was born 26 December 1912 in Two Rivers, son of the late John and Mary (née Soucek) Weier. [NOTE: There is a John and Mary Weier in Two Rivers Holy Cross Cemetery #128221786 & #128221816]
On 26 July 1947, he married Marie (née Toltzmann) Sincoular, who died in 1974. Following her death, he married Elsie (née Dewey) Meyer on 17 October 1973, in Michigan. She preceded him in death on 3 April 1999.
Alvin was employed at Mirro Aluminum for 48 years retiring in 1978. He then delivered meals on wheels for 12 years. Alvin enjoyed fishing, cards and polka music.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Shirley and Robert Simon, Forestville, Sharon Wessel, Sturgeon Bay; three stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Joyce Klabunde, Two Rivers, Dorothy and George Ney, Two Rivers, Phillis Ring, New Mexico; two stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, Mark and Betty Meyer, Merlin and Pat Meyer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arnold and Jean Dewey, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Gail Skoog, two grandchildren, one stepson, Art Sincoular, one stepson-in-law, Bill Klabunde, brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made in Alvin's name to St. Luke Catholic Church.
Funeral Services were held at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, followed by entombment .
