Marjorie A. Eastman, 79, Green Bay, passed peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. She was born on June 16, 1937, in the Town of Pittsfield to Henry and Dorothy (Ryan) Weier. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy with the Class of 1955. For many years, she was employed with A.C. Nielsen Co. and retired in 1994. Marjorie continued working at IDS until 1998 and she was the Managing Bartender at the Duck Creek VFW Post years following. She was a member of SS. Edward and Isidore Parish. Marjorie enjoyed taking “mystery trips” with her family and friends. Faith, Family and Friends were her passion in life.

She is survived by a sister, Marcella Zygmunt; four nieces and four nephews, John (Rhonda) Athey, Joanne Athey, Jerold (Sue) Athey, Jeannette (David) Schwartz Bjorkman, Walter Zygmunt, Patricia Zygmunt, Peter Zygmunt, Gretchen Zygmunt; 10 great-nieces and nephews; 17 great-great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Helen (Norbert) Athey.

Through the loving support of Sue Athey and Joanne Athey, giving endless love and attention to provide the best for Margie while she resided at the Angel’s on Humboldt Memory Care facility the past two years. The family extends their thanks and gratitude to David and his staff there. Thank you to Amy W. for her support through Care Wisconsin and most recently Aseracare Hospice.

Friends may call at SS. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., Flintville, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25. The Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25 at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
