Susan "Sue" Weier-McCann, age 64, of Menomonie Wisconsin passed away in her home on August 23, 2012 after battling ALS.
Sue was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on April 21, 1948 to Gerald and Betty (Brown) Weier. Sue worked diligently to provide comfort and care to those she worked with throughout her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Sue is survived by her longtime loving partner Maurice Trask, her daughters Katie McCann and Kelly (Tom) Messerschmidt, her grandchildren Coltraine, Benett, Andrew and Oliver, her mother Betty Weier, her brother Rick Weier, her sister Ann Anderson and a host of nieces (and their children) and a nephew, residing in the Menomonie/Eau Claire areas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Weier and a son Derek Dill.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday August 27th at Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with Pastor Mike Shay officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday August 26th from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, Wisconsin and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Cedar Falls Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at the Pioneer Grill and Saloon in Menomonie, Wisconsin
