Mrs. Margaret E. Ellis, widow of John Ellis, died Sunbay at her home on Avenue D at Altantic Highlands, at the age of seventy years. Death was due to complicatons. Mrs. Ellis was born at Navesink and was the daughter of Margaret and Jerome Welch. She had resided at Atlantic Highlands since she was a child. Her husband, who died a number of years ago, was a justice of the peace at Altantic Highlands. Surviving Mrs. Ellis are a daughter, Miss Hortense Ellis of Atlantic Highlands; a son, John Ellis of Leonardo, and a brother, Councilman Edward A. Welch of Sea Bright. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the house, with Rev. Henry Scot Rubel officiating. BUrial by A. M. Posten and Son will be in Bay View cemetery. The bearers are David P. Smith, Edward Conover, William Oakes and Charles Frost.
