Alice Jeanette Blank, age 92, formerly of Green Lake, and recently of Michalene's in Ripon, died early Friday morning, November 1, 2002, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born November 17, 1909, in Ripon, a daughter to John F. and Minnie A. (Page) Welk. Alice graduated from Ripon High School, and on November 6, 1948, she married Eric N. Carlson and they lived in Peoria, IL and summered in Green Lake. After his death she married Lawrence C. Blank in 1974 and he passed away in 1995. Mrs. Blank was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include a nephew, Curtis Kohlman of Greendale and his wife, June and their children, Carolyn and Christopher; and brother-in-law, Reuben Kohlman of Oak Creek. She was preceded in death by parents; 2 husbands; 1 brother, Carl Welk; and 1 sister, Della Kohlman.
