Mrs. Ida M. Appler, 80, of Georgetown, Bart Twp., died at her home Sunday at 4:45 p.m. after an illness of three years. She was born in Strasburg Twp., a daughter of the late George T. and Sarah J. Keene Welk, and was a member of Georgetown Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church. She is survived by a brother, Harry B. Welk, Strasburg; two sisters, Mrs. Louisa Leaman, Bart; and Mrs. Ephraim N. Seldomridge, Quarryville; and two grandchildren. (Intelligencer Journal - Dec 4, 1951)
